THE WALKERS OF ROCKY CREEK
There is some reason to suppose a connection between the Walkers of Rocky
Creek and those of Fishing Creek, and Sandy Riber, but no proofs have been
uncovered.
ALEXANDER WALKER and his wife Esther came to present Chester county, South
Carolina, in the 1750's, probably from Augusta county, Virginia and settled
about eight miles east of Chester, South Carolina in the fork of Rocky Creek
and Alexander Walker's branch.  Their children who have been identified
were: 
  Robert, 
  Philip, 
  John, 
  Alexander Jr., and 
  Samuel.  
Old Alexander died in 1798, predeceased by his wife.
